This traditional Chinese figure signifies good luck and protection. It is called Fu -- half-lion, half-dog; this small sculpture is hand-carved in China from fine, apple-green jadeite.
Certified as 100% genuine, natural jade by Gemologist Dong Zhen Xin in Beijing, 2004, on behalf of the Gem Testing Centre, Chamber of Jewelry of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, 88 Funei St. Xicheng District, Beijing. Durable laminated certificate with official raised seal. Comes with gift box.
